Calling all singers! Dr. Greg is forming a choir to present special music at Desert Hope for Reformation Sunday on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at the 9:30 AM service. “Were It Not for Grace,” by David Hamilton and Phil McHugh, is a beautiful ballad arranged by Greg Wiggins. The arrangement moves “gracefully” through several keys, offering the listener gentle tonal surprises along the way. Different voice parts take turns carrying the melody, creating a sense of variety and unity. Toward the end, the piece transitions into a brief version of “Amazing Grace” before concluding with a tender finish. There are four rehearsals leading up to the choral music presentation on October 25.
