Calling all singers! Dr. Greg is forming a choir to present special music at Desert Hope for Reformation Sunday on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at the 9:30 AM service. “Were It Not for Grace,” by David Hamilton and Phil McHugh, is a beautiful ballad arranged by Greg Wiggins. Different voice parts take turns carrying the melody, creating a sense of variety and unity. Toward the end, the piece transitions into a brief version of “Amazing Grace” before concluding with a tender finish. There are four rehearsals leading up to the choral music presentation on October 25.
- Rehearsal #1: Wednesday, September 30, 7:15-8:15PM
- Rehearsal #2: Wednesday, October 7, 7:15-8:15PM
- Rehearsal #3: Wednesday, October 14, 7:15-8:15PM
